Your Path to Gong Playing
HYBRID ( ONLINE + ON-SITE) WITH DIRECT MENTORSHIP AND SUPPORT.
This 22hour training unfolds in a small group setting where everyone has the opportunity to play a Gong. We include both theory and practice, learning to listen, play and facilitate with confidence. Inspired by Yasemin’s background in classical music and her education in sound therapy, the training focuses on planetary gongs, instruments tuned to the frequency of the cosmos. Through them, we explore the relationship between resonance, emotion and embodiment. You’ll learn how to use sound as a tool for restoration, connection and awareness, grounded in both: science and art.
This training is for yoga teachers, bodyworkers, musicians, sound designers, therapists, and space holders - anyone curious about working with frequency and sound in a professional or personal way. After completion, you’ll be certified through THE PORTAL and Yasemin Vollmond.

ABOUT YASEMIN EGE
When the Gong entered my life, it never left. It feels like being in a relationship with an entity that insists on staying, a presence, a teacher, a mirror. While the piano moves through emotion and touch, the Gong reflects and reverberates, it speaks back to me. Playing becomes a conversation. Sometimes the Gong leads and protects me, other times I hold it. What I’ve come to realise is that gongs have opened every door for me. It’s only through them that I really understood what abundance truly means. I just have to pass through, they’ll do the rest.

Questions

-
The group is kept intentionally small, with around 12 participants in total, including Yasemin as the trainer.
This allows for individual attention, hands-on practice, and plenty of space to ask questions and refine your technique.

The Gong Training spans five days in total, combining online and in-person sessions:
3 online (and recorded) theory evenings (Gong, Sound, and Business modules)
2 full in-person practice days focused on playing technique and facilitation
Altogether, it’s a 22-hour training that balances study, hands-on experience, and integration.
-
Yes, upon completion you’ll receive a certificate from The Portal, signed by Yasemin.

-
If you miss an online session, don’t worry all sessions are recorded, and you’ll receive access to the replay afterwards.
This way, you can follow along in your own time and stay fully connected to the training flow.
-
No prior experience is required. The training is designed for both complete beginners and practitioners who already work with sound, yoga, or other modalities.

-
Because this training is limited to a very small group, each spot is reserved exclusively for the participant who books it. For this reason, we do not offer refunds once a booking has been made.
If someone cancels, it is extremely difficult for us to refill the space on short notice, and the entire structure of the training depends on committed attendance. We ask you to book only if you are fully sure that you can participate.
If you unexpectedly cannot attend, you are welcome to transfer your spot to another person, as long as you notify us in advance.
Thank you for understanding and respecting the integrity of this container.
+++ Sound is the beginning and the end +++
Sound is the beginning of everything. Around 15 weeks into gestation, hearing is among the first senses to develop, connecting us to both - the external world and the rhythmic beat of our mother’s heart. And it is also the last sense to fade. While we can choose to close our eyes, we cannot shut off our senses of hearing. Though our surroundings change, our physiology remains ancient, continually absorbing sounds. We take in frequencies that impact us, making it essential to clear and realign with those that truly resonate.
More and more people are stepping onto the path of working with or receiving sound. Whether to regulate the nervous system, to rest, to release, or simply to listen. Sound speaks a universal language that is accessible and receivable by everyone.
Join us for this magical week of Frequency and learning more about the science and mysticism of Gongs.
