Welcome to The Portal
Hi everyone,
+++ We thought it was about time to write a little introduction to everyone who’s been following along. +++
We (Yasemin and Kimi) have been friends for a while now, and over the years we’ve co-created many spaces together. Before that, we were fans of each other’s work, drawn to the ways we each bring sound, breath, and presence into our practices.
The Portal was born from a shared love of breath and frequency. These are the elements we both specialize in, and also what we feel most connected to. This project is our way of weaving them together and offering something that feels both deep and imaginative.
Eventually, we’d love to create a permanent space to hold these practices. But for now, we’re hosting pop-ups across Berlin, teaching classes in various places, and experimenting with a new way of creating space. We’re also interested in reimagining how people are invited into these experiences.
We’ve both realised that the typical studio model makes things more accessible, but often at the cost of spaciousness. When time is limited, it can take away from the beauty and depth that breath, sound, and presence really need.We want to hold space for slowness, for process, and for the kind of depth that’s often missing in fast-paced wellness spaces.
IF YOU’VE BEEN FOLLOWING ALONG, THANK YOU. STAY CLOSE.
OUR OFFERING
We’ll be offering monthly events in unique spaces, as well as our own facilitator trainings:
Yasemin teaches in-depth gong trainings.
Kimi offers frequency facilitator trainings, online ambient production, and a breathwork teacher training that runs twice a year.
We’d love for you to keep journeying with us. We’re always happy to receive your reflections or feedback. Our hope is to build something that feels more like a community than a product. Something that is creative, alive, and relational.
We’ve both spent time in wellness spaces that didn’t feel aligned. Even the ones that used the right words often lacked the values they claimed to hold. That’s why we’re taking care to build something that feels honest, welcoming, and real. Something that invites magic without performance, and community without hierarchy.
Thanks for being here.
With love,
Kimi & Yasemin
